We are seeking an Inclusion and Talent Manager to join a team that will create a magical experience that brings together film, broadcast and augmented reality, public archives, digital access, and immersive storytelling to ask: “who are we, where did we come from and where are we headed?” Creatively led by David Olusoga, this is a project that will have national prominence in 2022, taking place across 15 UK locations – including NI, Wales, and Scotland. You will be part of one of the world’s largest immersive augmented reality experiences.
The post will have a very high level of autonomy and responsibility for delivering and developing inclusion strategies, working with communities and diverse talent to develop immersive storytelling experiences. You will take lead responsibility for delivery of StoryFutures Festival Inclusion strategy, including taking a proactive approach to identify, resolving and escalating inclusion issues throughout the project.
A strong understanding of diversity and inclusion policy as it relates to creative industries and audience access requirements is a must. You should also have a strong understanding of interactive media, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with high-level stakeholders in navigating policy and process effectively and efficiently to enable creative teams to deliver. You will lead a small team of producers who will all be working with new creatives and diverse communities and your role will involve training, mentoring of both your producer team and this cohort of new creatives.
This is a 12-month post, available from 1st August with the successful applicant required to take up the post no later than 12th August 2021.
